The "guru-disciple" relationship is essential for making progress on the path in Tibetan Buddhism, yet for many students this most important relationship can often seem mysterious and confusing. This course seeks to inform participants about the role of the teacher on the spiritual path, through examining why there is a need for a teacher, what qualities should be present in both teacher and student, and how to relate to a teacher for the greatest benefit in one's spiritual life.
